I Am Struggling To Lose Weight Are Any Of Theses Drugs Responsible. MXT, Infliximab, Sertraline, Amatriptlyne, Astorvastatin?

I know from experience amatriptlyne makes it very difficult, the astorvastatin is for cholestrol, so I don't think those would effect weight loss. However the amatripyne is part of a group of drugs called tri-cyclics, any tri-cyclic will have that effect. It is also an older drug. They have newer meds to treat that have fewer side effects and I bet would work better :)

I also take Atorvastatin and Amitriptiline plus citalopram and more i believe its definately a problem with weight gain, but doesnt help me having an under active thyroid.

Yes it's the levothyroxin that causes weight gain plus I have an under active thyroid and cysts on ovaries think I'm ready for the scrap heap , to be honest I didn't know that there were different types of psoriasis, I'm not sure what kind mine is

I'm also on levothyroxin which I have recently found does cause weight gain

I'm on methotrexate and find you do put weight on your middle ..
