Hi, I take sulfasalazine. It seems to do the same job as methotrexate with less severe side effects. x

I agreed to take it as my Dr said side effects were low but I had every one of them. I was so sick on it. I ended up quitting my job as nobody wants an ill looking bartender. I wish you well. I'm on Humera now. So far no impact on anything but also no side effects either.

I wish I could take other medication but I had MS attack from taking them.

I don't get any side effects from methotrexate but the sulfasalazine gave me terrible headaches. I am now on an injection of Simponi once a month and this has helped. I am trying now to get off the Norspan patch (Morphine).
