Do You Stick With One Cream Or Use Different Creams?
Hello. My friend has psoriasis. Never goes to the doctors but uses different creams available in pharmacies over the counter. He does not stick to one cream, every day a different one from his collection.
Is this okey or better to use one cream before trying a different one? Thank you.
Psoriasis gets used to a medication pretty quickly. Alternating helps more than using the same all the time.
i alternate as well.
I have my prescription creams and I use two other creams one is called Hopes Relief - Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis, Itchy dry skin I used this when my plaques on my feet are dry split and tender as it is hydrating yet it doesn’t sting and it is soothing plus supper absorbive .... the other cream I use is canisien which is an antifungle I use this when ever I use showers at the beach, use some else’s shower or others people use my shower - my worst psoriasis is on the sole of my foot i it is hard enough to manage I don’t need to get a fungal infection in there also so I use it as a preventative ... u also find if I use the same treatment all the time it stops working or can cause my skin to become paper thin.
Sorry I took so long to reply. I use one till it stops working. Then I use another. Mine are prescriptions though. I've never found any over the counter that work. I would like to know if someone has meds that work in your head. Thanks
Thank you!
