Hi. I do feel tired at most times. I have severe inverse psoriasis and when I have an inflammation it makes it hard to do daily activities and chores. That’s where a lot of fatigue come from.

I definitely have more fatigue when I'm flaring. It can become a vicious cycle for me....I get stressed, so I flare and am way more tired, making me less productive, so I stress ....

Hi Donna. Thanks for answering. I am seeing a dermatologist for my plaque psoriasis. This is such an awful disease and I never know what to expect. It's good that we have this foundation to reach out to. Thanks again.

It never has really gone away. There are times when it’s not bad and it isn’t as prevalent on my elbows and arms although it remains fairly consistent on my lower legs. Then a flare comes up the itching, flaking and redness are intense.
Thankfully when my meds are working I don’t get flare ups that often but the winter makes it more difficult in keeping the flaking to a minimum. Constant moisturizing and using steroid cream....
I hope all goes well with your Doctor. Are you seeing a Dermatologist or Rheumatologist?
If you are newly diagnosed, get all the information you can. The National Psoriasis Foundation has a lot of helpful info. This is a disease that you must stay on top of.... You can’t ignore it!

Thank you Donna. Donna, can I ask you if your psoriasis comes and goes? I have recently been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis and my psoriasis hasn't let up. Does it stay or does it come and go?
