Can Scalp Psoriasis Cause Swollen Lymph Nodes?

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Berlin, NJ

I’ve had scalp psoriasis for around 3 years. I was seeing a dermatologist but lost my health insurance and haven’t been back there for 2 years. My lymph node started swollen around 2 or 3 months ago. I have a Dr.‘s appointment next week with my family Dr. and I’m just a little nervous. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you

I have PSA ; however, I also have Sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis is another autoimmune disorder (or at least they currently have it classified autoimmune). It can cause lymph nodes to become enlarged. Take this seriously though because other things can cause this as well!!!!

I developed scalp psoriasis in March. I had thick dandruff in my scalp and then my hair started thinning out. I just cut it all off in May. It’s browning back but not as thick. I just wear wigs when I go out. It’s still frustrating.
