Dallsemmitt, I have been thru over 12 different medicines in 20 yrs. I never went longer than 3 yrs before having to switch. I have just come thru the absolute worst flare up of my life, two years long! Couldn't find a medicine that would work until 2 months ago. Hopefully this combo works, as being house bound again is not what I desire.

There are many newer medicines out there, do not worry. What you are going thru is more common then you know.

Happy Holidays, ๐Ÿ˜Š

I used Enbel for almost 7 years and then my Rheumatologist switched me to Humira. I used it for over 12 years, and then without warning, it just stopped helping me at all. My Rheumatologist says that this happens often when you take a drug for many years. but I was disappointed! ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’Š

I was using both Humira and Methotrexate together for many years until I had a CANCER scare.

Been using Humira since 2016, after being on methotrexate and plaqnel. Take a shot every 2 weeks. Doctor wanted me on once a week but my insurance was thru my medicare advantage plan. Cost was out of my budget. Two shots right now is around $6000. My part the first 3 months of year $75, but once I hit the catastrophic stage cost , is 5%. This year has been $308. Does it work? Keeps more damage from happening. My shoulders are pretty much shot. Tears in the right one and bone on bone in the left. Get cortisone shots in them around every 4 months. Surgery would be replacing them. Beyond any real therapy as I will be 72 next month . I take it for rheumatoid arthritis . I take acitretin for the psoriasis. That has worked great for me. No real bad side effects from either.
