What Do People Recommend For Good Shower Gel To Use To Keep Skin Moist And Help With The Psoriasis? Thanks
My Dr told me to avoid using any soap. In the beginning I used Dr Bronners Liquid (the Baby one) but later I switched to their Liquid Tea Tree .. all of their liquids are classified as not being soap.. bc they don’t contain the things soap does ( like lye and soda ash?) whatever those baddies are, they’re not in Dr Bronners products. It’s also ph Neutral.
All of the liquids are concentrated so you can get a ton of use out of a bottle. I dilute it with distilled water and put it in a foaming pump. Either wash out an old foaming pump REALLY WELL or buy a new empty one on Amazon. Another thing to know about these liquid cleansers is most bar soaps contain things to make the soap hard, so it doesn’t dissolve in the shower. All of those ingredients end up on our skin, Yuck.
He also said to moisturize within minutes of getting out of he shower, which should never be hot, only warm.
Whatever you end up using, avoid anything with Sodium Laureth Sulfate or SLS and also whatever those Methiazo long as heck words beginning with Ms are..
I can’t tell you soap berries are good either, but this page lists a bunch of things in commercial soap to avoid.
