Electric Blankets; Friend Or Foe?
I recently purchased an electric blanket, it doesn't get extremely hot, but it definitely warms the bed. I used it last night and woke up in pain, very stiff and my knees are killing me, as well as my lower back. I thought the heat would relax the muscles! I had a personal training session this morning and struggled a bit. Now the pain is all down my legs, so my trainer told me to ice it. Does anyone else use an electric blanket and does it help at all?
High temperature only help to keep your skin burning, that,s is the only thing you don.t need
I have an electric blanket unplugged on my bed (soon). I plug it in only when the room is very cold then shut it off before crawling in. Sometimes if feeling ill I might use it, but rarely. Try icing before the bed time then close the heat off before crawling in. You should never use it all night.
Mine doesn't get very hot on level 1, I haven't tried level 2, and there is a fast-warming setting which I also haven't tried. It's a single electric blanket on a double bed, so I can sleep on the other side if hubby is up
I fell asleep with it on before.... don't do it.🤖
I have found any heat source close to my body exacerbates my Pso.
