@A MyPsoriasisTeam Member , oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear you have both conditions, this must weigh heavily on your mind. Have your doctors ruled out a biologic for the psoriasis? I get psoriasis in my ears and it's awful. So tempted to stick a cotton bud in and see if I could remove some of the skin, but I made a promise that I wouldn't 🙂 I wonder if you use the flash, maybe you could get a photo of the inside of your nostril? I'm really glad I keep photos of everything because it's easy to forget how bad things were. hugs xx

Thank you as this was the first time this has happened I was totally surprised and in all my studies I had never read of this happening. I am treating another disease called giant cell Arteritis and on a high dose of prednisone 60 ml As I have come down in dosage the psoriasis has started to reappear and I wasn’t sure. Thank you

unfortunately yes 😢 it can affect any part of the skin, including mucous membranes like those found inside the nose.

Psoriasis inside the nostrils can cause discomfort, including itching, dryness, and sometimes bleeding due to the delicate nature of the skin in that area. Treating psoriasis in the nostrils typically involves gentle methods to soothe and moisturize the affected area. This might include the use of medicated creams or ointments prescribed by a dermatologist or healthcare provider.
