Hi my Ps Friends... I read this article with some enthusiasm as I had some experience with banana based product .I was doing some research to try find anything that would supply relief from Ps ,anything that even had a chance of helping . I came across an add for a banana peel based product made in Africa . I took the info to my pharmacist and asked if he had heard of it and if the compound could be made here or if he could find something about it and if available could he get it ,.He said he never heard of it but would gladly look into it for me .He called me and said he found a supplier but it was very expensive and did not think it had been tested as a treatment .I asked the cost ,and said Please order for me as if it helped the very high cost would nothing if it worked. It arrived and he said it didn't contain anything harmful so I get to try it !! After following the directions ,and a few weeks of application , I would have been smarter to buy beer!!At least I would have had some enjoyment in drinking it .. If anything ,it was more itchy at night and not any help for sleep or rest . Now I am only telling my experience of 25 years ago ,so maybe improved combinations of banana based product is available . when you are suffering as we do with Ps ,we will try anything with the hope of relief . I will be clear 17 years with the help of a Biologic and the only suggestions I have for people are 1. Get a good dermatologist 2.let them suggest a plan for treatment 3.Try and do everything they suggest 4.try to limit stress as much as possible . Good luck in 2024.Hope this helps .
