Has Anyone Ever Used (OTESLA) And If So How Did It Work? I'm Scared Of Bialogics But This One Seems To Be More Safe Than The Others..

I’ve been taking Otezla 30 mg twice daily for over two years. Dr switched me from methotrexate to Otezla during the pandemic. Otezla does not suppress immune system nearly as much. She thought it best for me since I am over 70.

It worked ok for first year and a half or so. Basically stabilized existing plaque areas and improved synergystic effects of clobetasol and sunlight.

Lately it has lost its effectiveness. In fact, it does not seem to help at all now. No one can tell me why either. And I still suffer its side effects of diarrhea, hair loss and muscle cramps. So Dr is suggesting I switch to a different biologic. She recommends Skyrizi. Haven’t started that yet. Still researching it.

Some things I learned about Otezla is I don’t eat anything an hour either side of taking a pill. Minimizes diarrhea. Hair loss is only on my head. But for some reason not anywhere I wouldn’t care about losing hair.
