I had to go to dermatologist, as none of the shampoos and treatments helped. This was in early 2022. It was horrible. Could not sleep at night an my scalp would burn
when I went to hair salon to get highlights in my hair. I was out on methatricate which is a medicine for cancer. Took 6 Pills every Monday. And used a tea leaf shampoo that you could find at Dollar General inexpensive. It helped until fall of 2023 and took several months but I've now taken one injection of Skyrizi. I could not afford it but was able to get on the program with manufacturer of it thru my dr. office at no cost. My next injection is in
early April, which will be 28 days since first shot, No change as of yet but have been told it takes sometimes a month to see results. I was put on it because scalp psoarsis came back along with other types-nail psoarsis,psoarsis arthritis which is effecting my low back in spine area
along with fingers and toes. I do believe the
vaccine I took for covid may have caused tha this. It may have been dormant in my body before but I feel so fatigured and hurt a lot more. I cant wait for remission because I did feel in 2022 after getting medicine but
it came back worse, along wtih different kinds and I can't sleep. So frustrating. Praying Skyrizi works for me and
you get relief soon.

The different shampoo from dermatologist did not help mine. I think I waited too long thinking it was dandruff. I spenIt a lot of money and time ordering products on line before I went to dermatologist. Methatricate was the prescription that cleared up my scalp psoarsis but after 2 yrs. stopped. Now trying skyrizi. Said it may take till 3rd injection to help scalp, nail and psoarsis arthritis.

So sorry for you my dermatologist just gave the different shampoo for hair. Hopefully something stops from spreding.
