Arthritis
How do I know if it is psoriatic arthritis or just arthritis?
As I said earlier, my dermatologist is treating my psoriasis and PSa, he told me that a rheumatologist would do a ton of blood work, MRI and prescribed another pill..I completely trust my dermatologist and he's done a great job in treating me...my daughter had the same experience as you had when she saw a rheumatologist...she called him a jerk and won't go back to Mr. personality as she calls him...
My heart goes out to you, my sister just went thru that with her mother-in-law..getting in touch with social services is going in the right direction, ask his Dr if he can help or point you to other services available to you and your sister..good luck, my friend
My overall treatment is different..my dermatologist is treating me..discussed seeing rheumatologist..told me he'd do blood tests, MRI and X-rays..then would put me on same drug as Joanne is on..he knew that I have PSa...from working with me, changes in my nails am, toes, and overall pain level..I'm very happy with how I'm being treated..now on tremfya...hope that helps...

Problem is the OA is coming on strong and I want to paint. Methotrexate and Embrel were my starters. I only use 4 tabs of the Methotrexate now once/week and I know my stupid triggers are French fries and potato chips! But watch out for stress or a Covid injection,...
