That's unfortunate. My rheumatologist said he felt Humira and Enbrel were fairly similar as far as relief provided to his patients, it was arbitrary that we went with Enbrel. Maybe Humira will help as much as Enbrel?

Thanks for this Reply James. Unfortunately, living in New Zealand we have very few Biologics available and the only "funded" one, is Humira.

I would say yes. I guess it's tough to know for sure as maybe something else changed, but I suffered with it for a long time and now I don't so I'm crediting the Enbrel.

James, so the Enbrel has proved very effective for your Genital psoriasis, is that right ?

I use a low dose cortisone cream to treat flare ups, prescribed by my dermatologist. I am also on Enbrel for the PsA and luckily it seems to also keep the psoriasis under control. I started the Enbrel in December and have only had a single day since that I needed to use the cream for genital psoriasis. This compared to daily/constant itching and burning, it's been such a relief.
