I think it all depends on what type of flare Up it is. Is it coming from Food that U ate or being in the Pool for too long? In any Case, hit the #1 on the speed dial and see your Dermatologist right away. Dollars to Donuts, He or She can Prescribe something to calm it down.😊
FTI: I've had flare Ups ranging from mild to Severe-Food born to adverse reaction.

I have had cancer three times so no biologics for me; just one nodule in a lung. Flares for me starts with tingling in my head (scalp) like all the nerve endings are lighting up. Then comes some itching, but mostly tingling that makes me want to scratch. Exhaustion. I just want to go stay in bed. Pain in my legs today; thighs and knees. My neck hurts a lot! I did take a Covid test about three days ago but it was negative. I guess just a general feeling of malaise and depression.

Thanks so much, yes my joints are killing me. No biologics for me, I have nodules on my lungs and are skeptical to put me back on them. On prednisone and sulfazlazine .

For me, the first thing I notice when a flare is coming is fatigue. My joints usually follow a few days later with aches. Since I've been in a biologic, I haven't progressed to a full blown swelling/severe pain like before. My skin usually itches at some point, but there too, usually doesn't progress to full blown redness/soreness as before.
