I have been a psoriasis sufferer for about the last 23 years. Yes my psorasis is only 8 years old but it has affected my lungs, heart, brain along with the ordinary issues of nail and skin psorasis. I know have nerve damage in myfingers due to the arthritis but at the same time if i pick up something my pain is excruciating....you are not crazy it affects every inch of your body
Cathb, I too have had psoriasis for about 20+ years, and, strangely enough, I was diagnosed with silent reflux or GERDS at about the same time. The reflux causes me to do a lot of throat clearing (sometimes violently!) as I try to detach the phlegm from my vocal cords. I've never considered that there might be a connection.
