Was on it for nearly 15yrs, but added a biologic (Enbrel) after 2. They worked great together for 7yrs! Your immune system will drop dramatically, but that's what it's supposed to do to eleviate the inflammation.

I've been on and off mtx forever- I use it as a booster with whatever else I'm using- Humira now, but Stelara, Consentyx, you name it.
