My aunt had psoriasis in her hair. So she tried a cream she purchased at CVS it is called "African Black Soap Purification Masque w/Tea Tree Oil & Willow Bark" Dry, itchy scalp. Sulfate free. Sulfate found in shampoos is not good for psoriasis. By the way it turned my aunts hair curly.

I feel like since I used my prescription Psoriasis shampoo, it made my scalp more itchy.

Sorry to hear that. I used a shampoo called DHS SAL SHAMPOO that I bought on Amazon. You might want to try it. It worked for me when my scalp has the same problem. At any rate, keep trying new solutions. Hugs.

I use moogoo shampoo and conditioner. Doesn't get rid of all the scales but my scalp isn't so itchy. These products are available over the counter without prescription. If I have a bad flare up I use donovate scalp lotion. I have found over the years that blow drying my hair made my psoriasis worse so I let it dry naturally and don't use any sprays etc as they literally burn my scalp. Hope that helps
