Ok Well This Is New My Skin Has Flaired Up And I Just Got Told Im Now Going Through Menopause
I never had any type of bad skin at all not even back in the teenage years but two years ago wham !!! Scalp and body bloody menopause ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Believe it or not I use Prep H on my face every morning after a cool wash then I use a good moisturizer over it. My dermatologist says this is the reason I don't have hardly a blemish. My skin stays tight from Prep H and moisturizer keeps my skin soft. I hope it helps.
My grandson and niece use proactive. My daughter and granddaughter use my routine my daughter is 42 and dosent look a day older than 26,28? Whatever you do don't use soap on your face.
Menopause was hard. The stress of crazy hormones added to my skin flares , and made me have to go back on mood stabilizers and antidepressants. Because of other medical issues, I chose not to do HRT. Once the antidepressants kicked in, the skin flares settled down. Topicals helped, but I really hate the greasy feel. I did have to push my primary care doctor and be flat out honest with her about how I felt!
I only said to my husband the other day, is this the price of a blemish-free youth?!
Yup. Started menopause a few years ago, mid-40's. WARNING: Plug your ears!
WHHHHHHYYYYY????
Anyways, my hot flashes are pretty severe. I'm taking all sorts of supplements for dietary consistency... without prescriptions, what would you suggest OTC/Natural for heat flashes?
I was taking Embereen for a while but didn't really notice a difference.
