Psoarsis In Later Life
Why would i go most of my life without psoarsis now nearly 54 my older sister and mam have had it most of their lives they have really bad plaque psoarsis covering their scalps their elbows their knees torso then i get two types of psoarsis plaque and guttate but only in minimal amounts
I got diagnosed when I was 30. They say that it’s hereditary. Also it feeds off your nervous system. So if you’ve started feeling more anxious for some reason that can trigger it. Or if you go through a big change in your life. Having children can change your body’s chemistry. A hysterectomy.... Etc...
Guess you’re just lucky. I’ve had it since I was 12. My kids got a few spots in their 30s.
I have had psoriasis since I was 11 yrs. old. As I got older it got worse. After 50 yrs old it was all over my body. My educated guess is that one of the many things that it effects psoriasis are hormone changes.
I developed Palmoplantar Psoriasis later in life also. Age 56. I was a Phlebotomist, needless to say, I had to quit that job. Took me 5 months to get back to a new normal. I feel for you. God Bless.
I was just diagnosed with Guttrate in addition to my usual plaque- I was covered from head to toe- so miserable- topical steroids- clobetasol ointment and cream seems to help me- good luck- I know how miserable this is
I Know Psorasis Runs In Families. My Daughter Has Psorasis On Her Legs . Does Drinking Alcohol Cause Her Psorasis To Be Worse?
I Also Am New Just Need To Start With What Is Good For Excessive Itching In Hair. Thanks.
Has Anyone Been Diagnosed With Psorasis In The Form Of White Spots?
