My 27yold son has been on Otezla for the last 6 weeks and it has flared up his psoriasis terribly. His dermatologist has now applied for him to try the injections. She said they are marvelous. So hope she is right as it has been a very sad isolating journey for him. He hates going anywhere without me. This has really knocked his confidence. His hands and arms are red raw. Hope the Otezla works for you

I am on my second round of Otezla. I took it about 2 years and it worked great until it didn't. Then I took Humira shots, Talz shots, Stelara shots and then Remicade infusions. None of those worked for me actually they made mine worse. So I started a sotyktu starter pack (new) very bad side effects for me BUT I took it only 15 days and my hands cleared up and my feet had a good start at clearing up so if you don't have the side effects I would certainly try this. But after that I went back on Otezla, I have been on it for 2 weeks and it seems to be working again? Who knows?

I have taken Otezla for well over a year now. At one time, I did see some improvement, but recently the psoriasis has become problematic on the soles of my feet. It began on the palms of the hands about 3-4 years ago, and taking Otezla, with an assortment of topicals (also prescribed) had helped. I am now, however, seeing less therapeutic value, and will try to see if there are other viable options. Biologics make me nervous but I may have no choice -- many days it is difficult to walk.
