I am being trestedbby s dermatologist fir scalp psoriasis. Should I also see a rheumatologist?

If you only have skin issues…a good Dermatologist should be able to treat you but if you have any issues with joint pain and stiffness then it’s a good idea to see a Rheumatologist as well. I’ve found that a few Doctors are familiar with the different types of psoriasis and all the newer treatment options but many are not so….if you aren’t satisfied with the care you receive, always go for another opinion and if you find a good knowledgeable MD….hang on to them. LOL
