Has Anyone Ever Tried Cerave Or Gold Bond Psoriasis Moisturizers? Did It Work?
I currently use clobetasol ointment for my psoriasis but I have to use it for 2 weeks and then not use it for 2 weeks. During the two weeks I’m not using it. My psoriasis comes back with a vengeance. I was just wondering if either one of these moisturizers has helped anyone and maybe I could try it the weeks in between using my prescription. Thanks!
I found organic grass-fed beef/bison tallow. Just plain. Sometimes called body & face butter tallow. I don't need to use it on my face every night. But for the psoriasis patches, as much as needed. Usually at night. It softens & lighten the flakes as well. The tallow helps heal the patches a lot faster than OTC/RX creams for me. A little goes a long ways. Esty has better prices. I hope this helps you.
Sounds good to me! Thank you!
Hi Rachel,
My husband has tried both gold bond and CeraVe and . . . Seems like everything else. Got so any creams/ lotions wouldn’t rub into his skin.
Dermatologist recommended Vaseline from the beginning but we had to try everything 😉 just in case it would work.
Tried colloidal oatmeal powder bath, after 3rd bath skin got very mad and itchy.
Vaseline is the only product that does not irritate his skin, gives some itch relief.
So from our experience save your money and use Vaseline, avoid trying various products and irritating your skin any further.
Any Regular Hand Lotions You Would Recommend.
