Humira (adalimumab) is a biologic medication used to treat moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis and active psoriatic arthritis. While it can be highly effective, as you've experienced, it may not be suitable for everyone due to several reasons:

- Medical Suitability: Not all patients may be medically eligible for biologics due to underlying health conditions or potential interactions with other medications.
- Side Effects: Humira can have serious side effects, including severe infections, allergic reactions, and increased risk of certain cancers, which may deter its use in some patients.
- Cost: Biologics can be expensive, and not all insurance plans may cover them, making them less accessible for some patients.
- Response Variability: Not all patients respond to biologics in the same way, and some may not achieve the same level of clearance as you have.

Not all biologics work for everyone. I started with Tremfya, switched to Skyrizi then to Talz. This is only 2 of the 5 possible inhibitors used to treat psoriasis

I've been thinking about Humira but am worried about side effects. I also have psoriatic arthritis.
