I Need Information On Top Sites For Enthesitis. My Rheumatologist Seems To Think Only The Achilles Counts, And I Have Several Sites I’m …
I’ve had numerous locations. Biceps, foot, ankle tendons. Achilles only once affected.
Enthesitis can affect various locations in the body, not just the Achilles tendon. Here are the most common sites for enthesitis:
- Achilles tendon: Runs down the back of the heel.
- Lateral epicondyles: The bony bump on the outside of the elbow.
- Plantar fascia: The ligament connecting the heel to the front of the foot.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I have not had any incidents since being on medication ~3 years. Prior to that 2x year x 7 years!
