Good luck with the new dr. They should offer you some relief from the multiple drugs there are. Remember that not everything they try works for any one of us. But keep trying if the first thing does not work. You may also might want to think about your diet. Things like processed foods and seed oils may be making it worse. And there may be oral and or injectable but there is also creams and solutions so ask about it all! Good luck!

Hi Kristina here is a suggestion from me. My doctor has me using
Calcipotriene Cream 0.005% which is also called Dovonex, and it has helped me a lot. You do need a prescription for it, and I rub it on my nails. Wishing you
luck.

It sounds like you're dealing with some challenging symptoms. Here are some steps you can take:

- Nail Care: Keep your nails short to prevent them from lifting off and to avoid buildup under the nails. Keep them dry and clean to stave off infections.
- Protect Your Nails: Wear gloves while washing dishes or gardening to avoid irritating your skin or nails.
- Avoid Artificial Nails: Opt for nail polish and gentle buffing instead of artificial nails, which can increase the risk of nail separation.
- Consult Your Rheumatologist: Since you have an appointment soon, discuss your symptoms in detail. They can evaluate your condition and suggest appropriate treatments, which may include systemic treatments like biologics or antirheumatic drugs.

For immediate relief, consider reaching out to your current healthcare provider for advice on managing pain and nail issues until your appointment.
